Polyamory – A Short Film by Nikki Kaufman

For my senior sociology thesis, I traveled to Taos, NM, Loveland, CO, and Philadelphia to meet self-identifying “polyamorists.” The result was a 30 page paper and 25 minute short film on the topic. Although I am not enthusiastic about the turnout of the final product, during my time researching and filming, I learned an unbelievable amount about the topic of polyamory and about what it takes to make a documentary film alone.

It was an amazing opportunity that would not have been possible without my participants, my advisors, and my family.
